Overview
Teachers from throughout the school district meet once a month during the school year to receive professional development. All teachers are given stipends to attend a conference of their choice, from which they return with information to share with their colleagues. Other topics covered during the professional development sessions are how to raise money for the classroom from individuals, improving students’ literacy skills and culturally responsive pedagogy.
2011-2012 School Year
The teachers participating in the 2011-2012 Teacher Ambassador program are all Linked Learning Academy teachers in their respective high schools.
