Raquel F. Donoso is a public policy advocate, philanthropic leader, and organizational strategist whose work over the last two decades has included education, health, the environment, civic engagement, immigration, and women’s rights. Raquel was Director of the Mission Promise Neighborhood (MPN), building a cradle-to-college-to-career pipeline for San Francisco’s Mission students. Prior to MPN, Raquel was CEO of the Latino Community Foundation where she led the organization through its largest growth period and launched several innovative initiatives. Raquel has also worked on regional and state policy issues, spearheading campaigns on health access, environmental health, and education equity. She is a fellow of the Annie E. Casey Children and Family Fellowship. She is a proud parent of a West Contra Costa Unified School District high school student. Raquel completed her undergraduate and graduate studies at the University of California, Los Angeles and is completing her doctorate in education leadership at the University of California, Davis.
